The Meteor 350 was recently launched by Royal Enfield, which happens to be is most refined 350 yet! The bike is a drastic improvement over the Thunderbird 350X. A total of three versions of the Meteor 350 have been launched and these are called Fireball, Stellar, and Supernova. Let's find out what each model has on offer in this scenario and how the three trims vary from each other in terms of pricing, features, and color choices, etc.

Centered on its all-new 'J' platform, the Meteor 350, Royal Enfield has launched its very first bike. A brand-new counterbalanced motor, more modern features, and improved underpinnings are included. Three variants are available: Fireball, Stellar, and Supernova. The Meteor is available in 15 colors—check out all of them here. 

The expense of the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 starts at Rs. 1,75,825 and goes up to Rs. 1,90,536. Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is available in three variants: Meteor 350 Fireball, Meteor 350 Stellar, and Meteor 350 Supernova, the top version, which has a price tag of Rs. 1,90,536. There is a range of choices for color and customization to choose from. According to the configurator, optional add-ons such as a windshield, bash plate, panniers, benches, footpegs, backrests, and the like would be eligible for the bike.

The Meteor comes with a range of new features that have not been seen on a Royal Enfield before. With mobile access, turn-by-turn navigation, and day and night mode, it gets a semi-digital instrument console. You also have a USB charging port mounted on the switchgear, an LED taillight, and a circular LED DRL running around the headlight. With a brightly colored teardrop tank as well as blacked-out mechanicals and rims, the styling remains very identical to its ancestor, the Thunderbird 350X.

The Meteor draws power from a new single-cylinder BS6-compliant counterbalanced 350cc fuel-injected air-cooled long-stroke engine. At 6100rpm, it produces 20.48PS and at 4000rpm it produces 27Nm. A 5-speed transmission is used in the engine. Surprisingly, on the Meteor, the large 20-litre fuel tank of the Thunderbird was replaced by a smaller 15-litre one.

The Meteor 350 comes fitted with a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers suspended from a double-cradle frame. There are larger 300mm and 270mm discs that anchor the bike. As standard, dual-channel ABS comes in. For better stability, it gets chunkier tires — 100/90- 19 upfront and 140/70- 17 at the rear.

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is up against the Honda H'ness CB350, BS6 Jawa, and BS6 Imperiale 400 in its section. If you were to consider its price, however, the Meteor also takes the Dominar 250 and the Jawa Perak on board.
